LastMinute Christmas gift panic

Hi all
what to do!
got DD 8 yrs and DS 6 yrs. they each have about 5 largish more expensive presents and 5-6 small stockings presents.

the largish presents are of equal value. But my DS asked for a toy machine gun. The one my DH got looks huge even though it only cost£30. He also has a new scooter that cost£25.00
not fancy but it does have a nerf gun in the front.
many DD got a new scooter for her birthday. She asked for Rainbow high doll so we got one and also grandparents have bought one. Plus an incanto doll and incanto watch which was £30.00. But her looks less that as they are not as big. Now I am in last minute panic that will be upset and disappointed.

what can I do?

I think an 8 year old can understand the difference between size and value (both monetary and desirability)

You’re overthinking it, have you got what they really wanted? I’m sure they will be happy & excited and won’t be comparing size.

Stop panicking! You got them what they want. Do you have individual piles? We have everyone's gifts under the tree together so you don't notice the different sizes. It's normal for presents to become physically smaller as they get older!

Thanks all - I know they will get smaller and more expensive as they get older. We also got a season pass to a wildlife centre and have been twice this week which is part of the family gift. I just worry she is a young 8. So I think initially she may look at it and think ‘where is my big I gift?’
I know she would love a rainbow high doll house but even second hand they are pricey. It’s too late now anyway!
