Depend entirely on what phone and what camera you have!

Purpleskies46 · 24/12/2022 01:51

iPhone 13 or mirrorless camera

Not anymore, the new phones are just as good if not better.

They're not really. Although they are very capable.

But I always say, that the best camera is the one that you have with you. To that end, mobile phone cameras are most always with us.

In that case I'd probably use my phone. Not necessarily better but easier and more convenient. ?

I'd have the iPhone for the main bit and use my dslr for some candid portraits

It depends on the camera and phone but modern phones are indistinguishable between high end cameras now.

If that was true, there wouldn’t be a market for high end cameras. Phones are only better in certain circumstances. Portability and convenience being two of the most important.

PlaitBilledDuckyPuss · 24/12/2022 09:16

You need to compare the spec of the two.

BlackForestCake · 24/12/2022 09:43

If you already have both, why not just try them both out and see which gives you better footage?

lbzbean · 24/12/2022 09:46

The right answer is depends....

Probably best results will be using your phone for video and the camera for photos, assuming you know what you are doing with the camera.
