Doorbell camera.. Is it a wifi booster I need?

Just wanted to check before I buy it because I'm terrible with stuff like this!

I bought a doorbell camera which is obviously on my front door, I live in a flat so you then have my stairs behind my front door leading to my hallway then my living room, Camera is working but constantly says no signal so the live feed won't load. When I take the camera off my door and put it in my living room it works perfectly and has full reception.. The app shows 1 bar of wifi reception for the camera when it's on my door.

I'm assuming I need a wifi booster? I can't move my broadband hub from my living room atm as it needs to be plugged in behind my tv as that's where my phoneline etc is, Would a wifi booster work?

Thanks.

Probably but we purchased a cheap second hub, plugged that into the main hub and had it downstairs to connect to the doorbell.

Is there a plug socket near to the door?

If so, plug in the receiver thingy in there and it will get the signal from ring doorbell and sort of be a half way signal booster to modem

Well that is what we have with ours but sorry not explained it very well

Hopefully someone else will be able to explain better than me

We have the spotlight camera outside by upstairs window and the modem is downstairs but the receiver is plugged in upstairs and that works fine

So think it should work for you hopefully
