travelling national express for 5 hours tomorrow … one suitcase for hold plus carry on bag (and a shopping bag from Sainsbury’s but I’m hoping they’ll wave that) .

Do national express check your suitcase is locked? I’ve just fucked the lock that came with the case - email I got says stuff about making sure case is labelled and locked before they’ll allow travel? Dunno where hell I’d get another padlock this time of night !!!

Could you use a zip tie?

Needmorelego · 22/12/2022 19:57

No they've never checked because we don't even have locks on our suitcases.

I've travelled with them a few times and I have never locked my case. I do not even have a lock on the case. Normally the driver is under such pressure to get on the road they pop them in the carriage as quickly as possible.

OK thanks, I’d hoped that would be the case! Shouldn’t bother reading Ts&Cs haha 😂
