My 2 primary age DDs(7 &10) were in their school carol concert last night. The concert was filmed and both the video and stills were posted on Facebook. Last day of school today so both excited since it was Christmas party/games, etc. Just picked them up from childminder and DD10 very quiet. After a bit of questioning she says that she got a bit of a "telling off" from her class teacher because it had been spotted by the headteacher that DD's uniform wasn't totally smart on the Facebook photos of the concert. Apparently the headteacher had noticed that her tie/top button weren't done up. I've looked at the photos, it's no different to how it is now, and is for every day that she goes to school. Nothing has ever been said before. I feel shit that she's been a bit off about it all day. Suspect that class teacher had been given the word from head for not checking if it's that important but I'm pissed off that my DD seemingly got the shitty end of it.
