Is this turkey OK?!

I've never had a frozen turkey before. Just got it out of the freezer and opened the bag and it looks really frosty on the outside. Is this how it's supposed to look?

I dunno I was just worried that maybe it had some thawed ( not whilst I've had it) and re frozen a bit? Things coming out of the freezer are not normally covered in ice like that, are they?

Looks like every other ugly fucker frozen turkey I've seen.

The Christmas before last our fresh, and eye-wateringly expensive, turkey was "off" on Christmas morning and we had to chuck it so I'm probably a bit paranoid!

I guess they wash it in something as part of the butchering? Or it's just turkey juice that's frozen?

I think the dark bits are bruising, if it's anything like chicken. Won't affect the meat.
