I will keep this vague, an item from our property scuffed/scratched our neighbours car. Totally accidentally, caused by the weather. They want us to pay for damage, under £300. At present I have no spare money to pay and suggested they claim for damage on insurance. Do I claim through my house insurance or do they have to claim through their car insurance? They do not want to claim through their side.
