Bleeding after sex pp

I'm 12 weeks pp. had my first period and due on again Xmas day.

The last couple of times I've had sex I've spotted after. And yesterday I had some spotting randomly in the day when I wiped and nothing since ?

In pregnancy I was told I had a cervical etropion, I was bleeding every two weeks with it.
Could it still be this do you think ?

My smear is booked next week but I'm overdue by about a year due to a miscarriage and then pregnancy so I'm worrying myself abit now

Try not to worry too much. It's best to make sure and get it checked, but you are PP and it could be so many things.

After I had my second I got checked after a few months as I had the odd bit of spotting and bleeding (no periods at that stage). It turned out to be from a cervix that got damaged during birth and was slow to heal due to hormones.

@lifeinthehills thank you for your reply. Trying not to wind myself up. I had a C-section this time so can't even say it could be from birth trauma either...

Just strange as I never had this cervical etropion before pregnancy (if I did there was never any symptoms) but the doctor at the hospital who first diagnosed it worried me as she said I need to make sure I get my smear once I can Confused

I don't know anything about cervical etropion. I would imagine that if you had it during pregnancy, you still would. Or if it is something that goes away, that it could still be in that process.

Did you labour at all? If you did, that could still have affected your cervix, even with a c-section.

Whatever it is, you're doing the right thing getting it checked next week. Hopefully that puts your mind at rest.

It's just a rough patch of cells apparently that are easily irritated, something like that !

Hopefully it's nothing and maybe just my body adjusting after having my baby, but glad I'm finally getting my smear anyway. Thank you @lifeinthehills
