Would hearing aids work if...

had an acoustic neuroma? I have v v v v bad hearing (basically none) in my left ear but I'm unsure if hearing aids would do anything for me?

That's a question for the consultants at your ENT department. If you have no response to sounds because of missing or nerve damage then wearing HA's won't help you.
But people often think that wearing hearing aids is a cure all - it's not - it can only help with improving the quality of what you can hear.
