DD is 11 year old girl goalie, playing her 4th season of grassroots football. We need these role models to keep girls in sport.

I would have been gutted if she hadnt won!

She is an amazing role model and I agree that they help show young women and girls that a career in professional sport can be attainable.

Ah that's fabulous. So we'll deserved. I mean, i am not into sports so don't know who else was in the running and i know nothing about her beyond that one game, but it was a wonderful, inspiring moment.
