What do you do with the battery holder on a lighted wreath??

Hi, posting for traffic and out of desperation, please help!

I have an lighted indoor wreath from cox & cox, it’s quite small but has a battery compartment attached and also a ‘test’ button hanging by a wire. I’m not sure how to hang it without the battery compartment and test switch being visible. I don’t know if I’m supposed to unravel the wire and let it hang down (it’s attached to the frame with tiny zip ties that look hard to remove).

has anyone worked out what you do with these kinds of wreaths? The photos on the website are not helpful at all.

I made a wreath with baubles for the first time this year, as the appropriate greenery is hard to come by in Spain, and I put some battery-powered lights on it so I had the same problem. I wrapped the unit up in Christmas paper and put a ribbon round it. I think you can just see it on this photo, in the top part of the interior of the wreath. Might that be an option?

Thanks @LaMadrilena , that is an idea. I’m just a bit annoyed as the pictures on the website are really misleading - no battery compartment visible or a wire hanging down. And it wasn’t cheap!!

i have a c&c wreath, was expensive considering what it actually looks like. It didn't have lights but needed some oomph so I added some battery powered ones. When i hung it I taped the box to the door behind the wreath. Not sure if that answers your question.

I tucked it behind out of the way.
