Why no raised temp? I feel so ill.

I thought a high temp helped fight off a virus, so why haven't I got one? I did the first night but not since. Is my body rebelling?

I'm taking Paracetamol every once in a while but only when I've checked to see I don't have a raised temp.

I don't have a temp either - but I feel awful! Sore throat, cough, alternating between sneezing with runny nose and then a blocked up nose. Feel slightly sick too. So, a heavy cold really. But no temp here.

My ds1 (16) had this virus last week - high temp, coughing, aching, dizzy and nausea. His temp was around 39 with paracetamol and 40 without. He was proper poorly for 3 days and then had a cough for another 3 days. Is totally better now.

I started on Monday with what I presume is the same thing - aches, nausea, dizzy, cough etc. I feel awful. I feel hot and cold but when I check no temp. What's the betting mine hangs around for the full 2 weeks and just starts to get better in time for me to go back to work.

Sorry to break this to you, but I started with this in October...
Mostly sorted, the odd day of feeling like 💩 but my tonsils are still big, sore and sometimes spotty.
Docs don't want to know...🤷‍♀️

Spoke too soon. Temps now 39.6 and I feel dreadful. Seriously considering cancelling Christmas

Hang in there Neighbours. Get into bed and hide there for the next 12-24 hours. Drink plenty.

My temp has finally risen to 38.2 hurray so hunkering down once kids asleep.

Me and DH came down with this last night. I’ve not been this ill in a very long time, it’s brutal! My chest is tight, throat feels like rusty nails, I can’t walk straight and I’m so tired, banging headache. I’m either roasting or shivering. DH has a temperature, I don’t.

This was not how this Christmas was supposed to go 😭😭😭
