Can anyone recommend a nice one? I do like quite rich things! Hopeless at baking so can’t make my own.

I've read the Morrison's "best" one is good but take that with a pinch of salt because I've never had it myself.

Morrisons Best is lovely. Had it few years ina row.

Tried Lidl Deluxe the other day and that was a disappointment.

I have tried them all and agree that Morrisons “the best” is, in fact, the best. Judging by the responses on here already and the fact my local shop has them stacked on every available surface, many people agree!

The Morrisons Best one is definitely better than Sainsbury's, M&S, Lidl and Aldi.

If money is no object, daylesford do an amazing chocolate orange one.

I find too many of them are chocolate fudge coverings and I hate that. Its difficult to find one thats rich but also plain, sort of thing

I had a M&S Yule Log last year, and was very disappointed. The cake part was dry, crumbly and tasteless and the "chocolate" coating had no chocolate taste at all, just overpoweringly sweet.
I threw most of it away after trying a couple of slices. The first time in my life I've thrown away chocolate cake!

My favourite is Tesco fresh cream filled chocolate yule log…delicious

I like the fresh cream ones from the fridges - they are less sweet.
