Any recommendations for carpet cleaner??

My friend moved house a couple of weeks ago and had found a couple of the carpets are looking a bit tatty (for want of a better word) she's saying they are looking 'bobbly' instead of fluffy in the high traffic areas with bits of fluff that are hard to vacuum up.
Apparently the 'low traffic areas are looking quite nice and she was asking if I know any ways to 'renew' and fluff up the high traffic areas.
Now I have no carpet in my house so had no idea what to recommend so I said I'd ask here 😁 I know there is a wealth of experience amongst you lovely lot so thought it'd be worth a crack!! She doesn't have the money to recarpet so any advice re products she can use herself would be really appreciated!

Thank you🤞

Hire a carpet cleaner? Rug doctor or similar.

We have a Bissel deluxe (?) I think it's called. It is better than our old rug doctors. If they are really dirty it might take a few goes and they can take time to dry out but it's great for our hall with a muddy puppy and walking boots Angry

Thanks so much for the recommendations, I'll pass them on. Do you think something like that would restore the original fluffiness of the carpet?
