Laxido for constipation

I have had faecal constipation for the past 3 days. I have bought Laxido sachets. Does anyone have any experience of using Laxido and how quick did it take to work? Thanks.

Yea laxido does take a couple of days to work
Increase fluid intake a lot. But I was constipated a few months ago and it all came on very quickly however it seemed it was impacted.
I used a suppository which you can get over the counter from a pharmacy.
Tried one and it let me get a little bit of the worst out then I had a shower and I actually had to pick bits outs myself. I bought rubber gloves. It came out like stone. It was awful but i got enough out to them use another suppository which cleared me out lol.

Good luck!

It can take a few days to work.
Think it's 8 sachets for what you have, all to be drunk in a certain timescale.
Drink it cold from the fridge. It may bloat your stomach and you'll feel uncomfortable

Try not to eat too much food.
When it works, it WORKS.

Make sure you drink lots of water. You can't shit without being hydrated. My dad takes laxido and it works way better when he has an extra glass of water in the morning.

Honestly I'd get glycerine suppositories from Boots.

You can pop two in, and it will get things moving. You can also use laxido at the same time alongside it. Take the 8 sachets a day dose.

You'll know when it works.

Good luck OP.

It's 8 sachets for impaction (so if 'just' constipated I'd start with 2 or 4) (for several days then taper down), gallons of water and a glycerine suppository for the other end to help shift hard lumps (tip,,insert suppository and lie on your left side while sipping coffee...it helps!)

Laxido tastes vile but it marginally improved with squash.. or once you are down to one sachet..orange juice makes it more bearable!

I had exactly this issue recently. Twice.

You need to drink eight sachets within 6 hours. I normally do two drinks with three sachets and then a third with two in quick succession.

I put off using them and thought eight sounded excessive. It's not. I was given enemas to try and thought they would work so put off the Laxido.

In my experience, they take around 3 hours to work when taking them like that.

If it recurs, try drinking one to two sachets daily.
