Just feeling a bit shit!
my husband left me this time last year.
I have 2 kids.
I have to work this Christmas Day.
I fell for a guy that doesn’t feel the same and is now not responding to my texts (I don’t know why)
I work really hard, am a nice person, trying my best to be a good mum and generally just feel shit that other women get treated well by their SO’s and I don’t get any of it. Nobody will be spoiling me this Christmas, I’m not sure I’ll even get a present.

I’m feeling sorry for myself but can’t stop crying in work!

I’m so sorry you have to work on Christmas Day. And I know the feeling of not being important to anyone.
you could maybe celebrate your Christmas fully on a day you are not working. So that you get a full day off. And if you can afford to- buy some gifts for yourself! You deserve it.
ive always been a single parent. I know the feeling. I’ve worked Christmas Day too. Things get better.

Spoil yourself, best presents I find are "from me to me".

Try to get a few hours outdoors in a holiday even if on your own (I will be doing just that myself).

Forget the guy and get on online dating site, even just for a hopeful festive conversation if nothing more.
