Pausing ttc for just 2 months ?

I have pcos and endometriosis. Been ttc again for over a year and nothing.
Dd has ASD and will be starting school next year and I said to dp I am considering not ttc for the next 2 months so that I know I can have that time to help settle dd but he thinks we should just carry on and if I get pregnant we will ‘work round it’

I’m not sure what to do I don’t want to potentially miss my chance to get pregnant but it’s been so long already. I want to be able to be there for dd when she starts school though.

wwyd ?

I would do whichever option minimises your stress levels. When DH (then DP) and I were going through fertility treatment for our first, I got pregnant, miscarried and needed a break from the stress. So we stopped, put our time and effort into planning and organising our wedding, then I fell pregnant naturally and was pregnant with our now 19yr old on our wedding day. There are so many unpredictables. Even if you do conceive, the baby might be early/late. Your DP will be around to help settle DD into school too. Good luck with whatever you choose.
