So I'm having my breakfast and just watched an add on itv for the"magic Mike" live show in London.

Couldn't help but think they would never advertise a show about female strippers/dancers at 7.45am

That's because the naked female form is sexy/dirty and the naked male form is sexy/entertaining. #misogyny.

I agree, I think it's so dated and gives me the ick. Same with the Chippendales etc.

And it won't pigeon hole the male actors careers
It won't be used to shame them

I'm sure lots of women and men will
Want to go watch magic Mike. It wouldn't be my first choice of a night out, but horses for courses!

Also the female form has to be perfect and will be scrutinised. The male owner of the male naked form is just commended for being a good sport. He also probably got paid a lot for it because it's not something men are routinely talked into or expected to do.
