I very very very badly sprained my ankle last November (2021).
An MRI scan showed severe cartilage damage and I need surgery to help repair it even though the success rate is only around 80-90%.
I am waiting for my NHS follow up appointment (5 months and counting) but I am in pain at the moment and am seriously considering going privately by taking out a loan.
It’s getting me down so much and am just wondering if anybody has been through something similar with their ankle and what they did about it and their recovery etc?
