Anyone have any Ideas for a present for my DiL

My son has been separated for nearly 3 years from my DiL. We are still in regular contact with her and we are meeting this week . For various reasons I am at a loss to what to buy her for Christmas.

My budget is £50. I can’t buy food, drinks, clothes, slippers, toiletries, or jewellery. Nothing for her home, no vouchers, plants, or candles.

The only thing I have come up with is a wrap around scarf, but I cannot find one that she might like. She is 44 and a teacher.

Why not vouchers? A John Lewis voucher would cover a few options.

I would buy books.

• Bird bath/bird feeder/hedgehog house
• BBQ tools/BBQ smoker accessories
• cinema tickets
• theatre tickets
• You said no vouchers but what about a massage/pedicure/pampering type voucher to local salon/spa?
• Nice dressing gown/leather gloves

A nice notebook, pen and mug that she can use at work? Or if you're meeting this week can you just pay for e.g. lunch and say that's her Christmas present?

A facial or massage is always a good idea for a busy mum

Nothing not suggested, other than asking her if there is anything she would like?

What about the Knead Peace cookbook that is raising money for Ukrainians.
