My boyfriend has just booked a holiday without telling me to Greece
1st October -8th October
What's the weather generally like this time of the year?
Will it still be warm?
I'm happy with 23/24 degrees

Yes, I've been to Greece in October for the last 20 years! You can get a bit of rain/storms but you can get that in September too. The further South you go the warmer it will be.

Where in Greece?

Trying81 · 18/12/2022 16:36

Yes totally depends where. Tbh Cyprus will probably be higher than that temp so early in October.

Can be hit or miss rain wise, depending where you are going. Although early October the temperature still should be clement.

I’d take a jacket or cardigan for the evening just in case but it will be lovely to not be melting in the day.

Try googling the weather in Kos in October....

Movinghouseatlast · 18/12/2022 19:09

I went to Kos last two weeks of October once and it was 26 degrees every day.

I worked in Kos a couple years back, my birthday is mid October and I remember sunbathing in the 31 degree heat! Kos is amazing

Turmerictolly · 18/12/2022 19:17

We've found it's hit and miss in Oct but as you're going earlier you should be fine.

I think Rhodes/Kos area is the best part to go that time of year. We're thinking of going to Rhodes in Oct.
