Good generic small present for a 10 year old?

DS is in reception and at his school each reception child gets a year 6 'buddy'. They're having a party together on the last day of term and DS's teacher has said that the reception and year 6 child 'often' buy each other a token present to swap at that party, which I take it means I should buy one. I have no idea what would be a nice small present for this 10 year old boy (who I've never met) - any suggestions would be gratefully received! I was thinking about just sweets but even that I'm not sure what would be a good sort to get? Due to my disorganization it needs to be either something I can buy from a big supermarket or something I can get from Amazon prime!

Lego

Small Lego set, or colouring pad and pencils. I wouldn’t get sweets in case of allergies.

Dobble or Top Trumps

Or a book.

As @SylvanianFrenemies said. Creator 3 in 1 set would be good. Supermarkets all sell them.

I have a son in Y6. Small presents he would like are: sweets, selection box, Lego minifigure, Pokémon cards, match attax cards. Hope that helps!

Agree with above pp about Pokemon or Match Attax Cards. Themed playing cards could also work (My DS has Minecraft ones from Amazon but I've seen Harry Potter ones recently too) or something like dominos. Stationery would probably be a good shout too.

Avoid sweets as there are so many allergies, my DS gets given sweets that he can't eat all the time and it's shit.

Rubik Cube.

Thanks, all - and good point about sweets and allergies! I've bought a little Lego creator thing off Amazon
