That’s it really. I need to do more restorative yoga as my hips are so tight and my psoas is causing snapping hips. Woo ups be good to use under my knees at night too.
thanks so much!

I've got a big one from Yogamatters and it was expensive but really excellent!!

Second vote for Yoga Matters - they’re great. My local yoga studio uses them too

I think it's worth considering how firm or squishy you want it. I find mine too big and firm, I wish I'd got a softer one as it puts me too high in supported child's pose. Just my advice.

Lots of yoga matters or independents on etsy etc

I got an ekotex one which I love but is probably on the firmer side (which suits me but as a PP said, may not suit you)

Thank you all.
I have no idea how firm I would like it. I am a bolster virgin! I have been told that a rectangular one is better- more versatile so I was looking at those really. What do you think? 🙂

What types of poses do you want to use it for?

What's your level of mobility?

Good question!
I am pretty flexible. I am looking to hold longer poses that would help especially for my quads, hips and upper back. I like yin yoga- so supported poses doing that. I am not good on all the official names😳

Yoga matters the cylinder one would be my recommendation. Not a foam one but one filled with beans. I bloody love mine, it’s awesome for meditation etc

The only reason I asked about mobility and poses was, for example if you want to do reclined chest openers (bolster under your shoulder blades) you might like a larger one.

But if you get a smaller one you can always layer blocks underneath.

Yogamatters have loads of lovely ones.
