Kids toddler Christmas party - what to bring

Hello,

this is first time I am attending a Christmas toddler party, I have a 1 year old and I have asked person organising and they said nothing however I feel like I should bring something.

i will probably bring some snacks regardless but also was thinking do I need to bring some gifts for the child who’s parents are organising this Christmas party for? I imagine this is sort of similar to when you throw a birthday party?

thanks In advance

No need to bring anything, I'd have thought?!

In similar circs I took a bottle of wine for the parents (in recognition of the bravery needed to host a toddler Christmas party).

I would prob bring a Poinsettia or something like that. A token thank you! But not alcohol as it’s a kids party

Thank you for your replies, do you think bringing a gift for the child might be unnecessary?

I'd just take a small gift for the child such as a selection box wrapped up.

i wouldn’t do this. The parents are organising the party, and it’s not the child’s birthday.

Yep, no one needs more stuff this close to Christmas and it's not a birthday party.

I’d take some biscuits or chocolates. A token gift. Can be used for the party or taken home
