I replied to a similar thread on here weeks back re Boots and their terrible glitchy website and app.
Following a recent order I placed with Holland and Barratt online, I'm wondering the same about them! Similarly their website was glitchy as hell and the app wasn't much better.
I placed the order on 13th, and it's still only showing as processing... (not dispatched yet so not impacted by the post issues)
This isn't just a seasonal issue as I've had similar experiences in the past but thought I'd give them another go...
It's frustrating because I toyed with ordering the things I needed from Amazon but figured I wanted to "spread the wealth" a little and use another company, expected delivery to be a little slower but this is ridiculous.
