Sinus congestion headaches

Had a brutal cold all week and now it's mainly around my sinuses. I'm getting sharp headaches around my eyes and sinuses. I'm taking Sudafed decongestions which alleviates it a bit.

Is there anything else worth taking to sort it? Is it likely to go away on its own? Unsure if it's sinusitis or just the cold lingering.

You need Sudafed nasal spray rather than tablets.

And putting your head over a big bowl of steamy hot water can help too. Place a towel on top of your head to trap the steam.

Try a neilmed sinus rinse. The saline washes out the passages and the bicarb calms irritation.

A spray like beconase can help calm the irritation too.

Warm water, not boiling!

Second neilmed sinus rinse, it's great

Add a tablespoon of dried thyme and a teaspoon of rosemary too. Really helps.
