Our NYE involves a party with the kids balloons and music and a count down to last years fireworks on you tube around 8.30/9pm which is lovely. Then once they are in bed we are back to the usual sat on the sofa just watching a Christmas quiz on tv and falling asleep! Sometimes we make a platter to eat or get a takeaway but it's still just boring! What do others do when it's just the two of you to make it different from a usual takeout night in front of the telly?
