Postage strikes /delays

Wondering how long peoples things sent recorded are taking to get there?

Posted several things first class recorded last Friday and none have arrived. The ones I didn't send recorded however have arrived!

Just hoping they do actually get there.

You surprised? National strikes. Wouldn't touch RM with a barge pole at the moment.

Things need to be sent tracked 24 & 48 and special delivery to be getting delivered at the moment. Been like that for weeks. Because that's what the posties are being told to prioritise by their managers and bosses.

It largely depends on which delivery depot they end up in as well.

Send a parcel 24 tracked yesterday at 3pm and was delivered today

2 special delivery (1pm next day) sent Tues and delivered Fri. About what I expected tbh.

Another sent to me on the 12th (1st class) arrived today.

sunday I ordered 2 things tracked 24 and one was delivered yesterday at 6pm and supposedly one is coming today.

even Amazon prime is 3-5 days out.

the only delivery company delivering here within 2 days has been evri.
