So what colour are my eyes??

There was a thread a few days ago about whether a poster had blue/gray/green eyes, or a combination therefore, and i commented that I had a similar issue.

I always thought I had blue eyes - blue-gray maybe, but blue definitely, along with every other member of family, who's eyes vary from a dark purpley Elizabeth Taylor blue to a very light dawn sky blue - but very definitely blue, is the point.

However, my DC insist my eyes are green, and DH fence-sits and says they're blue-green, and tbh looking at this photo, I can't see much blue myself...and so I turn to you, Wise Mumsnetters. What actual colour are my eyes??!

They look just like mine, which have never thought of as anything but blue! And nobody else has called them anything else either.

I think I am in the camp of grey eyes that change to blue or green aswell as some days my eyes are really blue and others they are green or grey and no-one seems to know.

Same issues in our house, two of the children have grey eyes with green or blue flecks.

You have lovely eyes and they look grey/blue with a tiny bit of green in from what I can see. I love looking at people's eyes, I think eyes are so pretty!

Grey,with green and blue. Perhaps you are one of these people whose eyes change colour as a previous poster suggested. I have the same issue. As far as I am concerned, my eyes are grey, but on occasions people say they are blue....

They can be blue, grey, green or even brown depending on the light or what I am wearing.

On the whole I agree, but they do tend to look different depending on what I'm wearing - for example, when this was taken I was wearing a green top:

If they change colour based on your clothes they are probably grey.
