Strep and Covid in the same week!

I was just starting to get better after a nasty case of strep. I’d sat in my bedroom for 2 days with a mask on while the antibiotics had a chance to kick in and stop me from being contagious. I was terrified of passing it on to my dc.

Woke up this morning feeling like I’d been hit by a truck. Test confirmed Covid. I know people are going through much worse than this but I’m feeling very sorry for myself and worried for everyone around me! I don’t want to isolate anymore and I don’t want to ruin Christmas.

Sending you sympathy OP. I can't say anything useful apart from that you must look after yourself and not rush back to normal too quickly. Plenty of fluids, paracetamol and rest as much as you can.

Hope you feel better soon OP. My 8 year old has just recovered from a double whammy of strep throat and covid at the same time. It's been a tough week!

Oh @EllaPaella your poor dc 😞 it is relentless. I hope they’re feeling much better and able to enjoy the run up to Christmas!
