I definitely did a double take- anyone else see this?

I was flicking through Mumsnet and saw this advert. It took me a sec to realise it was a carrot she was holding. However, I think it was the combination of her facial expression and carrot.....made me think wow....inappropriate. Maybe it's just me and mind works in a way that it shouldn't!

I was at a xmas party last night and my SM/ advertising algorithms have been in overdrive this morning. It's mainly been for diamond rings, baby carriers and River Island (colleague did a massive trek to RI to collect a gift....last one in the country for his wife). Definitely nothing dodgy and along the sexual lines I read into this advert!

I definitely did a double take- anyone else see this?

Isn't that Jack Monroe? Are we genuinely at a stage where a woman holding a carrot in an obvious kitchen setting is considered inappropriate?

I have a dirty mind but I can't see anything sexual in it.
It looks like she's talking and the picture was snapped mid sentence when she was waving the carrot. Is that her knee or the elbow of a French Baguette?

It doesn't look like a carrot to me either. All my supermarket ones are small, wonky and wrinkled.

As for pp saying the background is obviously a kitchen, has she never read about mn's thing for putting certain items in the dishwasher...which live in the kitchen.

However I think I'm getting cynical and old as I see most adverts (and newspaper titles) as purely clickbait rather than possibly informative or helpful.

It's a big carrot. She does look like she might use it as a weapon, but it's not a that's life suggestive vegetable or Baldrick's turnip.

Not inappropriate. She's in a kitchen, cooking, with vegetables. They have chosen to use an image where she is half way from one facial expression to the next.

I'm confused...
Are you worried about the veg on the left or right if the picture?

I see a carrot and nothing but a carrot on the left.

The one on the right however looks like a boob with nipple up
