Daily smart meter readings

If you have a 3 bedroom semi or close enough, what's your average daily reading on your smart meter?

Ours is £12 each day at the moment, but when I woke up this morning it was already at £9.20 before we had touched anything!

Can they sometimes freeze or lag behind? Keen to see what others are getting - I know it'll all be dependant on how often you've got various things on, but just as a ballpark, so I know if we are high/low in comparison!

We are two adults but are working from home, though I try to use just my laptop as much as I can!

Small 3 bed terrace, I'm using about £7 a day at the moment, but house is empty during the day as DS is at school and I'm in the office caning the heating where I don't pay the bills!

I use about £2-£3 in the morning (heating to 17C) and the rest in the evening (to 18C), off overnight.

I'd do this too if my office wasn't a 1hr 20 train jaunt to London 🤣🤣

We have the heating on once in the morning and once at night, may need to tone it down even more. It's the gas that seems to be rinsing the meter from the look of it.

It's become a daily mission to try and get the number lower and lower 😆 weirdly it was £9 ish at 9am but now at 4.30pm it's only £11 ish. And I had the tv and light on since. Weird!

Usually around 12 pounds a day. It’s been 15 pounds a day this week as we have all been ill with flu and so I’ve lived on the wild side and heated the house all day.

kWh is the most useful thing you need to have.

Knowing electrical devices in the house.
Outside weather temperature.

At the moment we are using about 40 - 60 kWh of gas a day - overnight at about 14 and then about 15 during the day - just so I can come home to a warm house in the evening as it doesn't have to warm up from scratch

It's a 2 bed flat - but it gives an indication that things have been expensive this week.

Hopefully it will get better when the temperature rises

@ErinAndTonic our electric reading had been off for a couple of days due to and EDF update and was showing gas only until today when the electricity magically reappeared!

Could this have happened to you to?
