Same here!! Did say reduced services but in recent rail strikes there has been some services running the day after? Not sure what to make of it but it's frustrating as I was relying on there being some trains!

ColourMeExhausted · 14/12/2022 20:44

I'm in Scotland if that helps to know.

Windtunnel · 14/12/2022 20:44

Hmm I'm traveling to a town down south and they look ok, one early canx but that's all...

Will re-check

WhatWouldHopperDo · 14/12/2022 20:46

Looks ok for our area. All normal
morning trains are showing. (South East coast)

Windtunnel · 14/12/2022 20:46

So there are no trains before 8am showing here for me

CantFindTheBeat · 14/12/2022 20:47

Mine are showing but as a reduced service.

One per hour, first train at 8.40 instead on 05.55 and last train at 5:40pm instead of 11pm ish.

Windtunnel · 14/12/2022 20:47

Same area as @WhatWouldHopperDo weird I have nothing before 8am. That first train's gonna be packed!!

Plump82 · 14/12/2022 20:48

Scotrail has tweeted saying most services tomorrow will be the same as they days there's strikes.

Windtunnel · 14/12/2022 20:48

I heard they'd be messed up tomorrow

Sunflowersinthewind · 14/12/2022 20:49

There will be later start ups on most lines as not enough signallers will be in until the day shift

Motheroftwofeline · 14/12/2022 20:49

We’ve been told to expect issues with services inbetween strike days as trains and staff are in the wrong place. Especially impacts morning (and I guess potentially evening) services.

Pain in the arse, might as well be another strike day. Appalling service this week, country has ground to a halt

Winter789Mermaid · 14/12/2022 20:52

Nope none running in time for getting to school and only hourly in the afternoon so can’t catch one home either!!

Muchtoomuchtodo · 14/12/2022 20:53

The day after a strike is always a monumental fuck up.

qpmz · 14/12/2022 20:53

What city?

workistoomuch · 14/12/2022 20:55

Same for me, I has tickets booked and checked times on train line only to find it wasn't there! Haven't had an email to tell me or anything....

ssd · 14/12/2022 20:57

What was the tweet about scotrail @Plump82

DevonshireDumpling1 · 14/12/2022 20:58

This is the most recent one.

ColourMeExhausted · 14/12/2022 21:02

Yep...ScotRail sticking to same schedule as strike days because rewriting the timetable is too much faff, apparently. Great. Where I live, the buses do not really offer a viable alternative!

Lcb123 · 14/12/2022 21:02

my trains are not starting until later tomorrow morning, and fewer services

WhatWouldHopperDo · 14/12/2022 21:04

Windtunnel · 14/12/2022 20:47

I just checked the Southern rail app and that doesn’t show anything before about 7:55

grapestar · 14/12/2022 21:05

They are basically working 7-7 all the way through to mid January and some lines won't have trains at all.

hamstersarse · 14/12/2022 21:06

Thanks all

Im just going to drive. Can’t be bothered with unreliable trains when it’s minus 5

Yes I'm just getting the message " no trains available" for my usual work commute. I use Northern trains. Don't want to drive!

Same here. Basically the whole of this week is a write off. Even on non strike day they aren't working overtime, and trains are all in the wrong places.

I needed to travel today and drove instead. It worked out cheaper, quicker and I enjoyed it more than I thought. I love the planet and thought I liked trains but this made me realise driving is actually quite convenient...
