I posted in work section but thought I'd post here for more traffic? When do you finish and what's the atmosphere like this time of year in the office? I'm moving to a cc In February and I'm thinking what it might be like for me next year x

No, off NYE, NYD and the 2nd
It's more relaxed and we do dress down from now until new year
I WFH full time at the minute though!

Amazing! I hope this will
Be the type of hrs I'll be working next year. It's a totally different job from what I do so I'm nervous/ excited

Honestly depends on which bank call centre , some eg Metro are 365 days a years , others close 25th, 26th Dec and 1Jan . If you check the opening hours of the bank you are going to work for it will give you an indication. A lot of call centre staff for different bank departments are still WFH , are you definitely working in the call centre all the time , as some have also reduced their desk space so not all call staff are expected in every day .

Yes, I'm going to a full time call centre so it'll definitely not be a branch.

Really depends on the centre too. Ours is tiny - 24 people, 12 in each team so it's probably more laid back than a giant centre
Sometimes we do quizzes and stuff around Christmas and watch films, other years we've had calls queuing right up to the last minute
