Poorly toddler advice needed

Looks like my almost 2 year old has caught his brothers sickness bug. He’s been sick twice but only a small amount. Every half an hour he wakes up crying, starts gagging, sick sounds like it’s coming up, and it actually smells like sick but nothing is coming out. It’s like he needs to be sick but it won’t come. Any advice on what I can do?

Have you given Calpol and encouraged sips of water ?
It sounds like his tummy is empty, so don’t worry.

@KangarooKenny No I haven’t not yet. We’re downstairs now and he’s brought me his drinking cup which means he wants a juice (he doesn’t talk yet) so I’ll give him some

Be careful of giving juice, he might be better with plain water
