Anti glare coating on plastic glasses - has anyone successfully removed it?

Scuffed my driving glasses (hardly used),
I tried YouTube using white spirit, no luck.

Can it even be done without damaging glasses? I wish I had never bothered putting it on in the first place.

It can't be removed sadly. Not without damaging the lens underneath. Would need new lenses.

Might be worth trying to get new lenses into the same frame from an online place offering reglazes. Some start from £9 I think.

Aaargh, not what I was hoping to hear but thank u 🙂

Reglazing idea sounds good though 🙂

I thought the anti glare coat didn't make a difference, until I had my current pair made without it. Big mistake!

I reverted to my older glasses which just have a built-in tint. But the new ones with anti-glare coating and Ray-Ban frames are now useless.
