Help! Office Christmas fundraiser?!

Need help and advice!

The person who usually organises our office Christmas fundraiser alluded that they had done so, sent out posters and details of a cake and bake sale, and games/competitions… they’ve gone off sick and when asked about the fundraiser activities, they said that they actually hadn’t made any arrangements??!!

I haven’t been involved in the organisation of this before, it’s too late to get a raffle together, we have next to no budget (government organisation!) and the fundraiser day is scheduled for Friday!

What are you doing for your festive fundraiser and do you have any tips or ideas for straightforward competitions?

TIA!!

Presumably it's work place based?
Christmas themed quiz -£1 entry with a %age to the fundraising
Cake sale.
Tombola (get people to donate a prize)
Pay to dress down for the day.

Yes, office based.

Already doing a cake and bake sale and comms around that have been sent.

Quiz is a good idea.

Manager says they have never made people pay for dressing down as they usually make so much money on the fun competitions(!), and it’s too short notice for a raffle or tombola.

It’s my first Christmas with the company but I don’t know what else to do!

Guess the number of sweets in a jar? Then you would pay to enter

Christmas jumper day £2 to dress down for the day
Quiz £1 a sheet
ask people what they've done in the past!

Do you have any soft toys, you could do a guess the name? Write the winning name in an envelope. Then you write lots of names on paper and put them in a tub like a raffle and let people pick them out for £1 a go?
