How do you know when you need to seek medical help?

I’ve been really ill since last Thursday, classic flu/strep a symptoms. High fever (between 38 and 39) cough sore throat, flushed cheeks, horrendous headache, and everything hurts. I am also prone to illness as I have other disabilities. I’ve been in bed otbrr than to the toilet in the en-suite since then.

I spoke to the GP today and he’s prescribed antibiotics and said if I get any worse then I need to go to a&e. But I don’t really know when that is? I feel so incredibly awful that it’s hard to know what the cut off point is and I imagine that sitting in a&e for 24 hours being patronised on a hard chair isn’t going to do wonders for my recovery or my existing issues! Any ideas what the worrying point is, or what to oook for? I tried to ask the doctor but I also have no voice at all so it wasn’t very successful 😬

I would hazard a guess at a temp of 40+ or breathing issues. But that's a guess, 111 online might be able to help you
