Vegan tarts

Any ideas where I can buy some of these? Have suddenly been asked to bring to a work event tomorrow and I'm not vegan, no time to cook these and no clue!

I've got it wrong already, it's vegan quiche in the text. What's the difference between a tart and a quiche?

Sainsburys and Waitrose both stock a Higgedy brand vegan quiche - not the cheapest but lovely!

Though it’s a strange choice to ask you to bring if you’re not vegan yourself! It’s not a particularly common thing

I would go into a supermarket on the way to work and buy something vaguely appropriate.

I think a 'vegan quiche' is a daft idea anyway as veganism is a whole philosophy of not exploiting animals and many vegans don't like the idea of mimicking eggs and meat.

If they want to cater for vegans, they should ask the vegan attendees what they'd like to eat and preferably ask them to provide it.

Or they should ask for more common naturally vegan food that anyone would be familiar with eg hummus, falafels, bhajis, samosas, salads, bread, olives, crisps etc. Or sausage rolls made with vegan versions of sausages and ready made puff pastry.

Asking a non vegan to provide a vegan quiche without any further guidance about what an appropriate substitute for the core ingredient isn't especially helpful.
