I bought a box of new lights for the tree. I put the tree up yesterday and put the lights on and decorated the tree. It looked nice when it was all done.
Tonight I went to plug in the lights. The lights on the tree is not working now. When I plug them in, they flash on and off. They do have different functions but it's not that. It's not the functions. The lights are blinkering. I tried a different socket and the same thing has happened again.
What could this be? Can they be fixed at home? Would they be safe going forward? Do I phone the shop where I bought them from and see if can return them and get a refund maybe. I don't know. They were on offer.
I am disappointed.
I don't want to go to the hassle of taking off the decorations and replacing the lights with another set.
