Handheld stick blender recommendations

I want one that is robust and is more metal than plastic, 800w to 1000w preferably. Also I want the bit where the attachment fits to the motor to be strong. Not sure I want to fork out for a bamix even though my MIL always says they are worth it. We stayed in a holiday house with a good Bosch one but not sure what model. I ordered on with great reviews on Amazon but it was useless and feeble, it was a random brand. Budget about £100 tops.

I've had a Kenwood Triblade for more than 20 years, still going strong.

OK, I'll check if they still make them

I’ve had the same Braun cheapo ((£15) since 2001. I use it many times a week.

They’re all the same in my experience, just get any with the wattage you want.
