Anyone else on Citalopram?

Started Citalopram just over 3 weeks ago, was in a very bad place when I did (on the verge of a breakdown) and within about 4 days I felt notably stronger.

2 weeks in and I felt upbeat, anxiety died away and felt ready to do life again, planning Christmas trips out and like a different person.

However in the last week I feel like I've gone backwards, anxiety playing up and want to hide in bed again.

Has anyone else had this? Dr said it can take 4-6 weeks to feel lots better, if I've gone downhill will I go uphill again by the time 6 weeks arrives?

Any advice helpful!

To be honest, it took me a good 3 months before it started to even out and I felt better- not fantastic, but just more balanced. It is still very early days for you, so you need to persist a bit longer. All the best to you.

@TellySavalashairbrush Thank you, hopefully it will even out for me too 😊

This sounds totally normal. It does take a while to even out. Keep going with it. Great that it works so well for yoh
