Calling Wigan MNetters please

Hi all

I am going to a gig at the Old Courts next Saturday night. I've never been to Wigan before. Please can you tell me where is best for parking and eating close to the area.

There's on street pay and display parking at the front of Old Courts. If you can't park up front then Mona Street car park is a couple of minutes walk away (and currently free to park at weekends).

I'm a big fan of the food at Gallimores Restaurant and have also never had a bad meal at Francos if you fancy Italian. They're both pretty central to town and probably less than a ten minute walk from the Old Courts.

There is a big car park by northwestern Station

No idea why all the space phone being daft. There is also a revs on King Street.

We parked right outside so thanks for the heads up and we managed to get a table at La Sentidos which was lush. So thank you so much for the advice

They played in our home town recently. I had never heard of them before and we had only gone to watch the support band as they are friends of ours. They blew us away. They were bloody brilliant. I have never been to a gig where I have been in emotional tears one moment followed by tears of laughter and nearly wetting myself. Best band we have ever seen live.
