Shoulder hurts when driving

My right shoulder hurts when I'm driving a longer distance. I think it's partly because I'm a new driver and was leaning forward a bit tense, so am forcing myself to sit back, which has definitely improved it. Any other tips? It's annoying

Check your sitting position. Make sure you're arms length from the steering wheel, not close to it, with a slight bend at the elbow. Too close and your face will be smashed in if the air bag goes off.
Have a very slight tilt back in the seat, so you're not bolt upright.
