I just had my haircut and coloured earlier. At my last appointment, I had a lot taken off (it was very long) as it was layered and I wanted it all one length as I wasn’t happy with how it looked. I literally loved how it looked when cut.
I’ve just noticed as i was getting ready for bed that my hairdresser has cut my layers back in. I didn’t see it at the time, as it’s mainly around the back and sides. I’m so upset. I had really looked after my hair since the last appointment, expensive treatments, no heat, etc to encourage it to grow and had virtually no split ends. She didn’t ask me how I wanted it cut and I presumed - as she was the one who cut my hair last time - that she was just giving me a trim in line with the style I already had.
Now I have the hairstyle back that I hated and if I want it sorted, I will need another 2-3 inches taken off to cut out these layers - which will leave me with an almost bob. I know there’s bigger problems in the world, but I’m so upset. What should I do - contact my hairdresser, just ask someone else to cut it, or put up with it another 3 months until my next appointment?
