A positive thread

There are so many threads on here where people are understandably frustrated misunderstood or just not happy in life so I wanted to start a positive thread

Obviously I need to start so this will be about me and my brother

I'm very lucky to be really close to him we get together about and go for a drink and some food locally this is nothing special it's just a couple of beers in a local pub where we can talk about anything everything tonight subjects were the worst thing is you can buy an auctions how to fix cars what to do with random badly behaved children how to cure flees and how to fix zips in jeans plus many many other things we always really relaxed around each other and just say happy in silence as well.
I know this thread is going to get many haters , ie stop bragging about how good your life is and how bad other people's .

We were were lucky we had a stable upbringing and I feel sorry and have sympathy for those it didn't have but but I thought it'd be nice to start something a bit positive rather than all the negative things that seem to go Mumsnet this past 6 months or so feel free to contribute with your positive things family , friends or just random stuff

I have! I won some money on the lottery last night. Not a huge amount but enough for some extra Christmas treats Grin

It's positive to see a positive thread.

I'm enjoying cosy cuddles with my cat right now.
Nothing makes me feel more at ease with the world than listening to her purring while snuggled in my arms.

Also DD has come home from Uni for a flying visit - lovely to see her.

@Upwiththisiwillnotput oohh whar are you going to buy or is it a secret ?

I hope your DD doesn't bring you 80 bazillion bags of washing 😂

@Loveinaworldgonemad ahh I have a cat too , he is not normally the snuggley type but once in a while he's gracious and sits next to me so I can stroke him.
