just a quick question we have a close relative in a care home and visit twice a week,my niece has struck up a friendship sort of just chatting with a male nurse.carer is it a big no no if they met for a coffee outside the home setting?

im really not sure if it is allowed does anybody know as dont want them to get in trouble but niece is thinking of asking him to go for a coffee, ive no idea so anybody know about these things

Of course they can if they’re consenting adults!

But, male may not want to risk his job if it got funny between them or she accused him of something untoward.
