Shopping with Simply Be, what the hell?!

I ordered some stuff from Simply Be last week, ever since I ordered, my bank has shown one pending amount for the full amount of my order. I've just checked my bank now and I'm £33 in my overdraft!

My original payment to Simply Be has gone out of my bank, and it's switched to 3 separate amounts, one each for the items I ordered and one for postage. But in my pending payments there's another payment to Simply Be which has sent me into the red for available funds in my bank account!

Why is it doing this?? What's going on? Are they going to try and take the £35.70 again?

I think the money was reserved when you originally made the payment (by debit card?) And when the payment came out the reserved funds are supposed to be released again. Maybe try talking to your bank as, depending who you talk to, they may be able to remove the earmark from those funds.
