about to purchase this car and can’t seem
to find any info on whether it’s safe with car seats… probably panicking a bit but want to make sure it’s ok.

Why wouldn’t it be? Of course it is. There are thousands or Karina and presumably thousands of car seats in them….

All cars will have the capacity to accept car seats, you should check the manual for the car seat you have (or intend to buy) to make sure it is compatible with the car. Not all car seats fit all cars.

I have a Kodiaq and have car seats with no issue.

@Sunshinegirl82 weve got a simplicity one in a silver cross set with pram but nowhere says whether it will fit! Xx

We have a Skoda karoq and a silver cross car seat - it fits! 😊

I know what you mean, I recently acquired an Axkid seat for the car and nowhere could I find out if it was compatible with my Tarraco (I guessed it was) but I dropped an email to Axkid who were very quick to respond to confirm it did indeed fit.

Take your car seat to the show room and try it. Totally fine to do this

Yerpp · 10/12/2022 17:59

@LeeLou456 thank you, is it the simplicity one with isofix base? Xx

OP posts:
LeeLou456 · 10/12/2022 18:20

@Yerpp yes. Though the base only fits in the back window seats, no isofix on the front passenger seat. The pram also fits well in the boot! X

Yerpp · 10/12/2022 18:23

@LeeLou456 thsnk you so much. I never thought of putting it in the front - do people tend to do that?!

LeeLou456 · 10/12/2022 18:24

@Yerpp I never have but just wanted to mention just in case! X

Check manufacturer’s instructions re airbags if applicable.

Yerpp · 10/12/2022 20:14

@LeeLou456 do you use the seatbelt around it too?
