What age for Loom Bands?

What age can children manage loom bands/ are interested in them please?

Thinking of buying some as a Christmas present but just wanted to check appropriate.

They're quite fiddly. Age 6 with good motor skills I'd have thought, prime age around 8-10?

Another option would be badge making or friendship bracelets?

Just had a look and the first 2 kits I looked at both said 8+ on the box.

I'd also avoid in a home with pets that might eat the bands, they get everywhere.

My dd is 6 and enjoys looming

Ours were 5-6 when they had them. We had bands everywhere. They do disintegrate over time .

Definitely by 7, maybe younger.
